1. ApplicationsOIA applications are available online at www.studyabroad.ttu.edu.

Study Abroad Semester	Deadline
Spring 2009	October 31, 2008

2. Scholarships and Financial AidThe OIA administers the Study Abroad Competitive Scholarship. The application is available online at www.studyabroad.ttu.edu at the start of the fall semester. Any financial aid that students currently receive will apply to Texas Tech approved study abroad programs. Student may be eligible to receive additional financial aid. See Connie Brown (connie.brown@ttu.edu) in Financial Aid for details.

3. Emergency and Liability RequirementsAny student who studies abroad must complete the Emergency & Liability requirements online at www.studyabroad.ttu.edu. Please be advised that this requires students to have a current physical from a physician. This can be done at the TTU Wellness Center or through your physician, but must be on the OIA form. Other requirements include providing flight, passport and insurance information.
